Job Duties: The Network Services Division Chief will manage the group that remotely operates, monitors, sustains and secures the enterprise network infrastructure on multiple Department of Defense (DoD) networks at multiple locations; adheres to processes and procedures including ITIL practices. Over the course of this contract there will be a high level of dynamics in upgrades and new technology implementations. Responsible for maintaining accurate and standardized network site diagrams that include all USARCC-C managed devices, active network interfaces, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, subnet masks, attached circuits with purchased bandwidth rates, Command Communications Service Designators (CCSDs), and routing information, store them in a shared area central location accessible by only authorized users, and provide a copy to client POC.
In addition to these responsibilities there are many more tasks in the same category of maintaining, operating and defending a very large and complex network, e.g.

Develop Intrusion Protection System/Intrusion Detection System (IPS/IDS) procedures; correlate and react to security events; perform first- and second-level triage; and forward suspicious activity to the next echelon of support. |

Maintain and modify access control lists (ACL) on managed network devices with no disruption in service. |
|
Maintain accurate and standardized network site diagrams that include all managed devices, active network interfaces, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, and subnet masks, attached circuits with purchased bandwidth rates, Command Communications Service Designators (CCSDs), and routing information. |
|
Create, add, delete, audit, and update Deny All/Permit by Exception (DAPE) security policies, including Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Guide (STIG) compliance. |
|
Maintain accurate and complete ports, protocols, and services (PPS) for managed sites. |
|
Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure such devices as routers, switches, firewalls, OOB management routers, virtual private network (VPN) concentrators, and access control servers. |
|
Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure the dynamic multipoint virtual private network (DMVPN) between each installation and the regional tiered layer architectures (TLA). |
|
Serve as the Registration Authority (RA), registering, issuing and revoking PKI-E certificates. |
Qualifications:
- Active/current Secret clearance
- You will be required to be certified in: IAT Level II Baseline Certification: Security+ or higher;
- ITIL Foundation Certification IT Services Management
- BS in CS or an Information Technology Engineering is desired
- 15+ years of experience in the same or similar operations working in a technical environment
- 5 years of experience in a leadership position
- 10+ years of IT Operations support experience
- Minimum five (5) years demonstrated/practical hands-on experience working in a DoD enterprise network environment
- Working knowledge of network monitoring tools to include Spectrum, BMC Network Automation (BNA), Netscout, eHealth, DIRECTRON, and Access Control Servers (ACS).
