Job Title: DLA IA/Risk Management Framework (RMF) Policy Analyst

Work Location: Ft Belvoir VA and surrounding areas

Clearance: Secret

Education: BS/BA degree in an IT discipline, or 10 years of job related experience in lieu of a degree

Experience: Three years of recent experience (within the last five years) with Department of Defense (DOD) cybersecurity policies such as DoD 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF), DoD 8500 series (Information Assurance/Cybersecurity), and CNSSI 1253.   Seven years of relevant IT Policy experience.

Certification: Must possess and maintain at all times one of the following certifications: Global Information Assurance Certification (GSLC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)                           

Travel: Occasional

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Specific Duties:

Reviews, consolidates and develops IA policy in accordance with DLA requirements.  Fully versed in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its IA policies, procedures and process and able to provide technical support and assistance to DLA and assess IT policies, standards, guidelines or procedures to ensure a balance of security and operational requirements.  Required to brief senior management on IA Policy changes, updates and progress. 

 

Minimum Experience:

Seven (7) years of relevant IA Policy experience

 

Qualifications:

  • Active current Secret clearance
  • Candidate must possess at least three (3) years of experience working with DOD cybersecurity policies. This experience must be within the last five (5) years.
  • BS/BA degree, IT related preferred or equivalent experience of 7 years and degree.

 

Skills:

  • Ability to perform certain tasks e.g.,
  • Excellent proposal writing skills or problem solving skills;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Proficient Call Center customer support skills;
  • Knowledge of Remedy
