Overview: The NORAD and USNORTHCOM Information Technology Service Management (N2ITSM)  contract supports the full range of NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N-NC) missions to include providing professional, administrative, technical and management support for the N-NC Cyberspace Operations Directorate (N-NC/J6) to support the enterprise information technology (IT) services provided by the N-NC/J6 in support of NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N-NC) missions.  Provide IT services to N-NC based on the industry best practices Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework that allows for high-quality, measurable performance of IT services and meet all N-NC IT requirements through the entire life-cycle of each IT service in all possible operating environments to include: stable day-to-day operations, deployed operations, exercises, and contingencies.

 

Specific Duties:

  • Support infrastructure operations and manage delivery for DoD IT realtime services based on operational requirements and service agreements
  • Lead a team of professionals dedicated to driving improved performance efficiencies across the IT organization
  • Capable of identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) that capture IT's delivery of business value and provide executive-level reporting in a consistent cadence
  • Knowledge of IT accreditation processes, network security configuration practices and crossdomain solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, end users, enterprise architects and project managers to provide maximum business systems uptime and performance 24x7x365
  • Responsible for day-to-day operational decisions to ensure the availability, quality and security of services vital to mission systems operations, command and control (2) and information sharing
  • Develop and mentor the team to deliver daily support in an ITIL-based services environment
  • Responsible for Circuit Management and Data Center Management

Skills:

  • ITILv3 Foundations required (or must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Qualifications

  • Active current TS clearance
  • MS/MA or BS/BA with 10 years of experience
  • IAT Level II (Security+ce or CASP) and MCSE are required on date of hire
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with an ability to motivate others in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Must possess a strong creative ability to apply IT to solve business problems with automation
  • Superior analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities
