Job Title: Systems Administrator: COOP/DR/Storage

Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Clearance: Active/current Secret

Education: BS/BA/AA or HS Diploma/GED and equivalent 6 years of experience in lieu of degree

Experience: 4 years with BS/BA

Certifications: Current ITILv3 Foundations required (or must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire), and current Microsoft OS certification required (Acceptable certifications include MCSE, MCSA, MCP, MCTS, MCITP), and current DoD 8570 IAT Level II, IAM Level II, or IASAE Level II or higher certification required includes Security+ w/ CE, GSEC, SSCP, CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP, CASP, CAP, GSLC, CISM, or CSSLP.

Schedule: Monday Friday and must be willing and able to work rotating after-hours phone or site on call support.

Travel: Some travel may be required

Job Duties:

  • Provide Tier II and Tier III support for Microsoft Windows enterprise environment.
  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot Windows 2008R2 and 2012R2 server environments.
  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot group policies, active directory, certificate services, Radius, and DNS.
  • Maintain and manage NetApp NAS, VMware Products including ESXi and vCenter.
  • Provide knowledge and technical insight in the areas of Windows server, VMware products, and group policies, etc.
  • Manage and troubleshoot a fast paced Windows 2008R2 / 2012R2 Enterprise Server environment.
  • Additional contract duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Active/current Secret clearance
  • Current ITILv3 Foundations required (or must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Current Microsoft OS certification required (Acceptable certifications include MCSE, MCSA, MCP, MCTS, MCITP)
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II, IAM Level II, or IASAE Level II or higher certification required includes Security+ w/ CE, GSEC, SSCP, CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP, CASP, CAP, GSLC, CISM, or CSSLP.
  • The individual must be willing and able to work rotating after-hours phone or site on call support.
  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience, or commensurate combination of education, training, and experience required.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding oral and written communication
  • 6 years of experience administering Microsoft 2008R2 and newer servers.
  • 6 years of experience working in managing and troubleshooting NetApp NAS, VMware, Active Directory (AD), DNS, and Certificate Services (CA); including creating, managing, and troubleshooting Windows group policies (GPO).
  • Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • NetApp, Nutanix or other SAN experience, Backup Software, VMware experience, SharePoint 2013 experience, SQL experience, SCCM experience, and experience with Microsoft clustering and load balancing.
