The Joint Information Operations Warfare Center (JIOWC) requires joint information operations (IO) and information-related capability (IRC) analytical expertise and services to support Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), Combatant Commands (CCMDs) and Department of Defense (DOD) efforts to integrate joint information-related (IR) activities and capabilities. The JIOWC supports the JCS in improving DOD ability to meet CCMD IR requirements, improve development of IRCs, and ensure operational integration and coherence across CCMDs and other DOD activities. The JIOWC addresses regional (theater) and trans-regional (cross-theater) IO planning, integration and assessment issues related to IO at the CCMD and Joint Force Commander level via the JIOWC staff. Provide advisory and assistance services (A&AS) for IO support to JIOWC, Joint Staff, CCMDs, and Joint Force Commanders. JIOWC Regional Integration and Assessment Teams require a base of operational analysts/planners with expertise in IO, IRCs and IT, broad expertise in regional cultures and a strong operational and technical background to support on-going JIOWC activities.

Job Duties:
• Use available IT resources and, as required, research and identify new automation software and services in support of regional and trans-regional planning, analysis, assessment, research, training, policy and doctrine.
• Use available IT resources to support analysis and information research involving automated data mining, analysis, correlation, and visualization products.
• Perform risk assessments by determining vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.

• Familiarity with USSTRATCOM organization desired
• Familiarity with Joint processes, operations, and commands.

Qualifications:
• Possess a minimum of eight (8) years experience in IO; deliberate, crisis action, and adaptive planning; operational assessment; the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), the Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX), and the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP).
• Must have working knowledge of national and joint doctrinal issuances, such as the Unified Command Plan (UCP), Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan (JSCP), Guidance for Employment of the force (GEF), JP 3-0 Joint Operations, JP 5-0 Joint Operation Planning, and the JP 3-13 series.
• Have at least five (5) years experience in at least one of the geographic CCMD Areas of Responsibility (AOR) and functional CCMD global mission areas, and shall have a broad understanding of global issues impacting or affecting these areas.
• Possess a minimum of eight (8) years experience in assessing external/internal tasking validity, advocating courses of action (COA) for tasking, and ensuring required actions are completed, personnel shall have demonstrated ability to interface with higher level management or organizations.
• Have at least five (5) years experience in soliciting, assembling, organizing data and presenting results in support of visitors, meetings, and reports.
