The Joint Information Operations Warfare Center (JIOWC) is the center of excellence for Information Operations (IO). The JIOWC supports the Joint Staff in improving DoD ability to meet combatant command information-related requirements, improve development of information-related capabilities, and ensure operational integration and coherence across combatant commands and other DoD activities. A selectively manned Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman's Controlled Activity, the JIOWC also 1) provides IO subject matter expertise and advice to the JS and combatant commands; 2) facilitates combatant command and Service collaborative efforts to identify and develop joint IO concepts and solutions; 3) develops and maintains a joint IO assessment framework that measures and reports performance of information-related capabilities supporting joint operations; 4) assists in advocating for and integrating combatant command IO requirements as required; and 5) assists in coordinating IO force development requirements. Select JIOWC personnel are assigned to dedicated and deployable IO augmentation teams to support the COCOMs. JIOWC's Information Technology organization (J61) oversees activities in IT security, information systems operations, and information systems development and modernization. Specialized technical expertise to support these activities is required in security certification and accreditation and continuous monitoring of national critical information systems and engineering support for data networks and telecommunications that span multiple classifications across the enterprise.

Job Duties:
• Provide ADPE hardware maintenance and equipment warranty tracking, follow Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEM) warranty repair and preventive maintenance guidance and/or follow industry accepted standards for preventive maintenance on all JIOWC ADPE on-site at JIOWC Headquarters.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, preventative and remedial/corrective maintenance on JIOWC ADPE. Repair faulty units or components on-site or send to a commercial repair center or the vendor if under warranty. Contractor shall obtain, track & perform OEM specified maintenance as required for all ADPE.

Contractor shall obtain, track & perform OEM specified maintenance as required for all AV Services equipment
• Coordinate with equipment vendors on repairs and warranty coverage. Contractor shall maintain vendor contact information and provide for COR review.
• Coordinate with the JIOWC IT Equipment Custodian (ITEC) on all maintenance, repairs, and warranty work, ensuring the IT equipment inventory database is accurate and complete.
• Provide support for packing, shipping, and tracking ADPE equipment for return to vendor for warranty service as required by the JIOWC and coordinate with commercial shippers as required and provide information to the Government.
• Identify hardware problems and recommend disposition while using the government's problem resolution tracking system to document activities performed on the contract.

Requisite Personnel Qualifications:

• Familiarity with USSTRATCOM organization desired
• Familiarity with Joint processes, operations, and commands.

Qualifications: Experience with all facets of PC and laptop hardware setup and maintenance.
• Possess minimum of 5 years' experience in general and specialized repair, maintenance and support of computer equipment and peripherals, such as network and standalone computer equipment and peripherals for workstations, laptops and networking equipment.
• Possess minimum of 5 years' experience and demonstrated proficiency in the operation of digital multimeters, network cable testers, loop back adapters and software diagnostic tools.
• Possess minimum of 5 years' experience in industry standard safety practices as applied to computer maintenance.
• Possess IAT Level 1 certification per DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, Incorporating Change 3, January 24, 2012.
• Possess the appropriate DoD-approved IA baseline certification outlined in DoD 8570.01-M, Appendix 3, Table T1.
• Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft operating systems, a wide range of standard office automation products (e.g. Microsoft Office), and web browser applications (e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, et al.).
