In accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Command Plan (UCP), the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) is responsible for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, information operations, space, integrated missile defense, counter proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), nuclear planning, and global strike resources worldwide. As a joint combatant command, USSTRATCOM directly and indirectly provides support to Command, Service, and Agency (C/S/A) elements and organizations. To accomplish these functions, the Commander USSTRATCOM, (CDRUSSTRATCOM) manages relevant peacetime engagement and threat reduction efforts. Provide support to the Government in creating, maintaining, and enhancing the ability to provide intelligence support to command planning and to plan intelligence operations by supporting Intelligence Planning (IP) for (1) Deterrence, Assurance, and Strategic Operations against regional actors, (2) Functional Space Planning, (3) Functional Cyber Planning, (4) Strategic Intel Campaign Planning.


Job Duties: Support USSTRATCOM J2 with the following duties:
• Provide Intelligence Planning Support (IPS) to the Command's contingency and campaign planning efforts, the IP process, and related planning support efforts.
• Work closely with USSTRATCOM J2, the Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC), J3, J5, the Intelligence Community (IC), Combat Support Agencies (CSAs), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Plans and Exercises (PLEX), Joint Staff J25, and OUSD (I) in providing intelligence support to USSTRATCOM planning efforts.
• Provide support to development of Production Requirements Matrices (PRMx)/Collection Requirements Matrices (CRMx), Annex Bs; the coordination of Functional Support Plans (FSPs) and National Intelligence Support Plans (NISPs); and participation in In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), Initial, Mid, and Final Planning Conferences, Operational Planning Teams, and Joint Planning Groups, and IP Teams.
• Support Operations Plan (OPLAN), Contingency Plan (CONPLAN), Warning Order (WARNORD), Operations Order (OPORD) and Concepts of Operation (CONOPs) development and coordinate IP, intelligence requirements review, extraction, consolidation, analysis/assessments, inputs, integration, and tracking.
• Support USSTRATCOM J2 IP and related issues, and perform detailed research, studies, analyses, and review of operational concepts.
• Support the development of measures of effectiveness and measures of performance for intelligence tasks and functions; alignment of tasks and functions to campaign and OPLAN objectives and effects; and the crafting of priority intelligence requirements capturing the information necessary to evaluate effectiveness.
• Assimilate and de-conflict collected data to ensure information accuracy and ease of access to all authorized personnel.

• Familiarity with USSTRATCOM organization desired
• Familiarity with Joint processes, operations, and commands.


Qualifications:
• Possess five (5) years knowledge and experience with providing IPS to the Command's contingency and campaign planning efforts, the IP process, and related planning support efforts.
• Minimum five (5) years knowledge and experience working closely with USSTRATCOM and the Intelligence Community (IC), Combat Support Agencies (CSAs), Joint Staff, and Office Under Secretary of Defense Intelligence (OUSD (I)) in providing intelligence support to USSTRATCOM planning efforts.
• Possess five (5) years knowledge and experience with developing Production Requirements Matrices (PRMx)/Collection Requirements Matrices (CRMx), Annex Bs; the coordination of Functional Support Plans (FSPs) and National Intelligence Support Plans (NISPs); and participation in In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), Initial, Mid, and Final Planning Conferences, Operational Planning Teams, and Joint Planning Groups, and Intel Planning Teams.
• Possess five (5) years knowledge and experience with supporting OPLAN, CONPLAN, WARNORD, OPORD and CONOPs development and coordinate IP, intelligence requirements review, extraction, consolidation, analysis/assessments, inputs, integration, and tracking.
• Possess five (5) years knowledge and experience supporting USSTRATCOM J2 IP and related issues, and perform detailed research, studies, analyses, and review of operational concepts.
