USCYBERCOM is a sub-unified command subordinate to U. S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). As part of the Cyberspace Training Initiative this work entails maintaining and updating a comprehensive classroom staff level planning/training course, the Joint Network Attack Course (JNAC) and its abbreviated Mobile Training alternative, the Joint Cyberspace Operational Planners Course (JCOPC). The JCOPC is taken out to the Combatant Commands (CCMDs) in order to train larger groups near their duty location. These courses address three elements of Cyber Training, Computer Network Defense (CND), Computer Network Exploitation (CNE), and Computer Network Attack (CNA). The curriculum focuses on intelligence, operations, planning, capability development, authorities, and domestic and international laws as they apply to CNA. Recently, the curriculum has evolved to incorporate additional elements of Cyber Operations and Cyber Network Operations (CNO) to include Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO).

Job Duties: Support USCYBERCOM JNAC with the following duties:
• Support the Lead Technical Engineer in the production of day-to-day job aids, exercise and test materials, instructor and student guides, network visualization products, etc.
• Use both Graphic Design and ISD skill sets in day-to-day operations to provide for a process for sound decision making in curriculum development
• Use current Graphics and Multimedia Design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) to produce instructional materials and presentation documents for the instructor team and students
• Use an ISD system approach (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom, Merrill) to obtain an overall view of the learning process characterized by gathering and analyzing collective and individual performance requirements
• Respond to identified training needs for the curriculum and those supported

Requisite Personnel Qualifications:
• Critical thinking skills, both qualitatively and quantitatively
• Ability to prepare a well-grounded, defensible argument
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with USSTRATCOM/USCYBERCOM organization desired
• Familiarity with Joint processes, operations, and commands

Qualifications:
• Experience developing instructional products using approved Graphic tools and ISD processes
• Proficient using current Graphics and Multimedia Design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
• Experienced with using an approved ISD system approach (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom, Merrill) to obtain an overall view of the learning process
