The Deputy Secretary of Defense directed continuation of operations of JEPAC through transfer of management responsibilities from OSD (DOT&E) to United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) and mission has been guided by a Program Decision Memorandum that directs the expansion of JEPAC's original focus to include all facets of Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) operations so as to provide an enduring, full spectrum Joint Electronic Warfare (EW) and Test and Evaluation (T&E) capability and enhanced joint operations across all five operational domains air, sea, ground, cyberspace, and space. Under its new name, "Joint Electromagnetic Preparedness for Advanced Combat" (JEPAC) was directed to collaborate with the Combatant Commands (CCMD) and Services to identify EW capability gaps and vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, validate solutions, and enhance combat capabilities across the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) for air, sea, ground, cyberspace and space. JEPAC also provides oversight of operational EW testing and analytical evaluation of current and conceptual U.S. technology and TTPs.
Job Duties: Provide support to the JEPAC with the following duties:
Integrate intelligence community reporting into customer processes to facilitate realistic assessments and training
Assimilate information from various sources to develop a comprehensive EW information baseline in support of strategic planning for agency assessments
Identify EW-data collection requirements for agency assessments
Support execution of agency assessments
Collect data in support of analysis and reporting requirements
Aggregate and brief agency assessment progress in briefings and course material for various DoD customers
Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on US, Allied, and threat electronic warfare capabilities and tactics
Develop and teach EW threat capabilities at various training courses
Conduct research, analyze threat data, and control receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information.
Conduct short notice studies to evaluate new EW threats and present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based upon results
Conduct tactical, operational, and strategic-level research of the impact of existing and emerging EW threats to Joint operations
Requisite Personnel Qualifications:
Critical thinking skills, both qualitatively and quantitatively
Ability to prepare a well-grounded, defensible argument
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Strong technical and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with JEPAC organization desired
Familiarity with Joint processes, operations, and commands
Qualifications: Required: Possess at least twelve (12) years of demonstrated relevant experience with:
Integrating intelligence community reporting into customer processes to facilitate realistic assessments and training

Identifying EW-data collection requirements for agency assessments
Supporting execution of agency assessments
