Overview: USSTRATCOM/J7 Joint Exercises, Training, and Assessments Directorate enhances readiness and mission performance through joint exercises, wargames, training, and assessments.  J7 also leads the Lessons Learned/After Action programs, IT Test/Evaluation, Modeling/Simulations capabilities, and enables Command workforce professional development.  USSTRATCOM/J7 requires Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for planning, development, execution, and analysis of Command-wide training, education, professional development, and organizational development programs and processes pursuant to SI 234-04, Workforce Onboarding and Development Program.

 

Specific Duties: Support division training strategies through analysis of student training needs, identification of training target audiences, and identification of appropriate training solutions. Promote the dissemination of training and development opportunities and other organizationally relevant information through numerous multimedia channels with a focus on enhancing employee awareness and soliciting widespread interest.

 

Provide program management and lesson plan development, analysis, improvement and assessment using appropriate pedagogical methods (analyze, design, develop, coordinate, administer, manage, teach, and evaluate) to design, develop and deliver, and maintain currency of USSTRATCOM training, education, and professional development (TE&PD) products and courses, and incorporate accordingly into appropriate training databases.

 

Support professional development program activities that address identified training needs. Maintain a variety of manual and electronic files and/or records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference on individual and team clients.

 

Provide advanced technical knowledge and analysis, high level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and training of integrated organizational development efforts including:

 

  • Integrating highly specialized pedagogical approaches, workforce assessment, databases, and web development leading to positive culture change efforts, collaboration, innovation initiatives, and research.
  • Providing advice on esoteric problems requiring extensive knowledge across all training, education, and professional development areas of expertise
  • Designing and preparing comprehensive technical reports, studies, related documentation, charts, and graphs. Prepare and deliver presentations, training, and briefings as the SME.
  • Support professional development program activities that address identified training needs.

Qualifications:

  • Possess experience that demonstrates the ability to: 1) focus on customer needs, 2) communicate well verbally and in writing, 3) establish rapport with many different types of people, 4) critically evaluate problems and develop solutions, 5) rapidly adapt to change, and 6) organize plan and schedule.
  • At least 10 years' of advanced leadership experience in high level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and training in the field of training, education, and professional development.
  • Possess an active/current Top Secret+ security clearance
