Education: Bachelor‘s degree in IT-related field or five years of job related experience within the
last five years in lieu of a degree

CLC: IA Threat Analysis SME
Specific Duties: Experience in the following areas is required to perform these job duties:
• Provide the technical assistance to prepare and update AMC Cyber Security strategies. This consists of identifying plans and strategies; requirements development and analysis including material solutions analysis, and technology as well as those required by DoD, Air Force, Joint and AMC.
• Provide analysis of how threats to Air Force/DoD/USTRANSCOM directly affect AMC C2 systems
• Provide summary reports, solutions, and mitigation strategies and recommend course of action based on current threats.
• Coordinate and collaborate with USTRANSCOM, AFCERT, and others to coordinate threat response.
• Collaborate with AMC/A2 to determine process for their increased involvement in reviewing and researching cyber threats.
• Scan logs for possible intrusive threats and determine process flow for receipt, distribution, and action throughout the AMC wings.
• Provide tailored threat assessments based on emerging threats, intelligence briefings, and internal threat reports.
• Coordinate, document, monitor, and support a variety of meetings and conferences to include, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings.
• Prepare background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy. Documentation may include attendance logs, minutes and/or action items with corresponding action officers.
Required Skills:
• Must have at least one year of Major Command (MAJCOM) or equivalent level staff work experience;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Experience with a wide range of computer systems and security tools;
• Management and leadership skills;
• Ability to be flexible, multi-task, make decisions, and work in a fast-paced atmosphere; and
• Is dependable and reliable
Qualifications:
• Top Secret and ability to obtain SCI;
• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or five years job related experience within the last five years in lieu of a degree;
• A minimum of 10 years of IA technology experience is desired
• A current IAT Level II, Security+ certification is required
