Job Title: Access Management/RMF

Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Clearance: Current Active Secret

Education: BS/BA; or HS Diploma or HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree

Certification: Current Security+ CE and current Server+ or Windows Server 2012

Schedule: Monday Friday, some weekend possible

Travel: Occasional

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Access Management:  Account monitoring and management controls provide a gatekeeper function to prevent and detect unauthorized activities that may lead to loss of covered data.  When implemented correctly, these controls allow resource proprietors and resource custodians to control precisely who has access to covered data and detect inappropriately granted access before data loss events occur.  

Risk Management Framework:  Prepare the required Cybersecurity documentation for new/existing systems, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) results, vulnerability scans (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), applicable controls and Plan of Action & Milestone (POA&M).

 

Specific Duties:

Access Management

  • Employ a process to record and monitor significant changes to covered system user accounts and groups to ensure that access is not granted outside formal approval process required by N2ITSM need-to-know access control requirement, including but not limited to:
    • Status changes that enable or disable accounts/groups
    • Account access privilege updates
    • Account creation/deletion
    • Group access privilege updates
    • Group membership updates
    • Group creation/deletion

 

Risk Management Framework

  • Support the team by performing assessments of new systems, software and networks within the networking environment or enclave
  • Implement the Risk Management Framework (RMF) construct for new or existing systems requiring initial accreditation or reaccreditation
  • Identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy
  • Input Cybersecurity information in system of record for Government review and approval
  • Provide subject matter expertise with DoD Cyber security assessment tools and procedures, network security architecture and design, and STIG's
  • Support senior-level accreditation and authorization decisions
  • Provides support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation
  • Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional support the accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Skills:  

 

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ year experience, or a commensurate combination of education, training, and experience
  • 5+ years of experience with information assurance, network engineering, or operational support to DoD supporting information operations
  • Cyber operations, system administration, systems security, or a similar field
  • Experience with DoD RMF and Cyber security programs, developing or analyzing system security plans, security assessment reports, POA&Ms, and security test and evaluation reports
  • Knowledge and training with HBSS, ePO, and DoD Cyber security policies
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication

 

Qualifications:

  • Current/active Secret clearance
  • Current Security+ CE certification
  • Current Server+ or current Windows Server 2012 certification
  • BS/BA; or HS Diploma or HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Previous experience supporting government and/or Department of Defense customers
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong investigative drive and listening skills, self-motivated individuals
  • Experience with multiple DoD networks
