Certification: DOD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT level II, and Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional -- Enterprise Administrator (MCITP:EQ) or current highest level of Microsoft certification for AD are required

Education: BS Degree in CS or IT

Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Schedule: This position supports a 24/7 watch section.  Must be willing and able to work shifts.

The Active Directory (AD) Senior SME will operate, monitor, sustain, and secure the Active Directory Enterprise Forest, to include the forest, domains, and all remote domain controllers (DC) on multiple Department of Defense (DoD) networks at multiple locations. 

Job Duties: Typical daily duties will include:    

• Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance on all CONUS Domain Controllers IAW Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Create and sustain Group Policy Objects to meet theater, installation, and organizational requirements.
• Coordinate and work with other forest owners and installation or organization administrators to correct user account data duplication and other user data problems.
• Configure, operate, sustain, and secure the Public Key Infrastructure/Certificate Authority (PKI/CA) servers/enclaves in support of certificate auto-generation/issuance to all network devices.
• Provide Microsoft Exchange support.

Qualifications:

• Active/current TS+ clearance
• Minimum six years of demonstrated/practical hands-on experience working in a DoD enterprise Active Directory environment.
• Familiarization with the DoD Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Working knowledge of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Guides (STIG) for Windows operating systems and AD.
• DoD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT level II
• Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional -- Enterprise Administrator (MCITP:EQ) or current highest level of Microsoft certification for AD
• This position supports a 24/7 watch section.  Must be willing and able to work shifts.
