Certification: DOD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT level II, and (ISC)2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or higher required

Education: BS Degree

Experience: Minimum six years of demonstrated/practical hands-on experience performing web application development and maintenance in a DoD network environment

Travel: 10%

Schedule: Must be will and able to perform shift work when needed

Job Responsibilities: The Application Developer will develop, monitor, secure, sustain, and operate numerous web portals on multiple security domains.  Typical daily duties will include:           

• Set up, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade enterprise web portals and the databases supporting the portals.
• Maintain and administer web servers and perform backups of all web content
• Design and develop web graphics, web pages, web sites, and interactive web applications.
• Implement technical security and information assurance (IA) best practices for establishing, maintaining, and administering web sites in accordance with NETCOM Regulation 25-70, Web Content Administration, Policies, and Procedures, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain and evaluate Web server audit and usage control logs.
• Ensure internal Web services are Common access card (CAC)-enabled.

Qualifications:

• Active/current TS+ clearance
• Minimum six years of demonstrated/practical hands-on experience performing web application development and maintenance in a DoD network environment
• Be proficient with Microsoft (MS) and non-Microsoft Operating Systems and applications to include MS SharePoint.
• Familiarity with a variety of development tools from Adobe, Oracle Microsoft, BMC and Java.
• DoD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT level II
• (ISC)2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or higher
• ITIL certification will be required within 3 months of hire
