LCAT: Army Fires Support SME

Overview: In this position you will be providing support to the Standoff Munitions Applications Center, a component of the Joint-Global Strike Operations Center (J-GSOC), located at Barksdale AFB, LA and other locations within the CONUS and OCONUS.   

Specific Duties:

• Provide support to Joint Fires Element for integrating SMAC planning with the Joint Targeting Process.
• Assist with developing organizational relationships and ensuring interconnectivity and interoperability between SMAC processes and Army/Marine Corps standoff artillery and missile planning in support of integration planning.
• Advise and assist government personnel with Dynamic Targeting development, planning, and execution as specified.
• Provide on-site Army/Marine Corps SME support during operational and emergent planning.

Qualifications:

• Active/current Top Secret+ DoD security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Computer Information Systems related field and at least five years of military experience OR at least 10 years of military experience.
• One year of experience conducting long-range artillery and Multiple Launch Rocket System operations, testing, training principles, concepts, directives, practices, tactics, and techniques.
• Five years of experience applying United States Army or Marine Corps principles, concepts, directives, practices, analytical methods, and techniques to resolve internal problems resistive to solution by typical processes and procedures.
• Completion of a formal Army Field Artillery course and Army Fires Center of Excellence or equivalent.
