Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.  Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.  Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.  Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis activities but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.

Specific Duties:

• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information
• Collaborate with other analysts to understand the organization's business processes
• Develop informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant opportunities for improvement
• Interact with customers, managers, subject matter expert and development teams

Qualifications:

• Active current Secret DoD security clearance
• Ability to always maintain the clearance level required by the contract

Skills:  

• Microsoft Office - Proficient
• Basic problem solving and analytic skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organization skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal direction
