Overview: S4 Inc. employees selected for this position will be supporting USSTRATCOM in supporting global missions requiring continuous exercise, training, and assessment. You will assist the planning and execution of joint exercises and wargames, developing current and emergency training and exercises, and mission assessments required to ensure USSTRATCOM and its components are prepared to accomplish their UCP mission.

Specific Duties: In this position you will be responsible for:

• Support the planning, development, execution, and analysis of joint exercises and wargames
• Assist in the development, coordination, and management of the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to track key actions and deliverables
• Assist with the planning and development of Concept Development Conferences, Initial Planning Conferences, Mid-planning Conferences, Final Planning Conferences, and Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) Synchronization Conferences.
• Develop Master Scenario Events and exercise injects to accomplish training objectives
• Prepare, publish, distribute, and archive Joint Exercise documents as determined by the joint exercise or wargame lead planner and Branch Chief

Skills: Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with clients and vendors, demonstrated technical leadership skills, good verbal and written communication skills. Have a solid understanding of the design of complex databases (e.g., schema and subschema details) so limitations/deficiencies can be identified.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in one or more of the following mission areas:
  • Strategic Deterrence
  • Nuclear Operations
  • Global Strike
  • Space
  • Integrated Missile Defense (IMD)
  • Integrated Missile Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA)
• Ability to speak authoritatively on most aspects of joint collective training development and execution
• Capable of assisting other team members with the accomplishment of the collective training mission
• Thorough understanding of USSTRATCOM's assigned UCP missions, CJCS and USSTRATCOM EAP, and thorough knowledge of end-to-end operations and processes form National-level decision making through unit level execution
• Experience with the development, administration, and execution of scenario-based training modules
• Prior experience at a CCMD, Joint Staff, or Service MAJCOM.
