Experience: Five (5) years working with the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), RMF, eMass and the C&A process

Description:

Performs a variety of computer security system engineering project tasks applied to specialized technology problems. Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to Information Assurance requirements. Conducts security assessments and security consulting services. Analyzes information security requirements. Applies operating system security configuration. Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of work flow, organization, and planning. Conducts security certification and accreditation for information technologies. Leads Programs in analyzing and preparing documentation in support of implementing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) security posture.

Additional Responsibilities/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Knowledge of processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems
• Knowledge of Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) processes and procedures
• Knowledge of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) processes and procedures
• Knowledge of Information Assurance requirements
• Ability to apply IA requirements to resolve technology problems
• Ability to conduct security assessments and security consulting services
• Skilled in analyzing information security requirements
• Ability to apply operating system security configuration
• Ability to apply analytical and systematic approaches in resolving problems with work flow, organization, and planning
• Ability to conduct security certification and accreditation for information technologies
• Experience in working with the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), eMass, and the C & A process
• Lead in migrating Programs from DIACAP to Risk Management Framework
