Overview: Provide services to develop and conduct vulnerability assessments in accordance with OSD, Joint Staff, USSTRATCOM direction and guidance, Service, and Combatant Command direction and guidance and the JEPAC mission, as well as develop, document and continuously improve the JEPAC vulnerability assessment process model. You will research and understand emerging, relevant EW/EMS technology at multiple classification levels and strive to incorporate appropriate systems into JEPAC assessments.

  • Assess the readiness of operational electromagnetic spectrum operations capabilities
  • Identifying gaps and limitations
  • Delivering timely and relevant assessment results that enable data-driven decisions and electromagnetic spectrum operations capability

Qualifications:

  • The Cyber SME must possess over 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience with the following:
  • Operational level experience and experience with assignments such as Joint, CCMD, and on a service level staff
  • Developing detailed mission analysis and integration of resources to determine capabilities to meet JEPAC mission
  • Understanding of current service capabilities and tactics with knowledge of vulnerabilities in the presence of threat EW in order to make recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on finding of JEPAC assessments
  • Experience analyzing threat data and controlling receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information
  • Understanding of current service capabilities and tactics with knowledge of vulnerabilities in the presence of threat Integrated Cyber and EW (ICEW) in order make recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on findings of JEPAC assessments
  • Experience analyzing threat data and controlling receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information
  • Ability to evaluate emerging ICEW threats in order to present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on assessment results
  • Conducting tactical, operational, and strategic level research concerning the impact of existing and emerging ICEW threats to joint operations
  • Experience conducting studies, preforming research, reporting, and making recommendations concerning instrumentation and test resources necessary to execute risk reduction and test events ensuring the coordination of communications, logistics, materiel, data collection and personnel training, issue and alternative definitions, and personnel requirements for each designated activity
  • Experience working with partnering agencies that share interests in support of data collection reduction, or JEMSO operations in conjunction with JEPAC assessments
  • Experience with RF injected cyber-attacks on DoD platforms
  • Conducting research on adversarial cyber assessments and EMS issues, obtaining relevant DoD documents, conducting adversarial studies, analyzing options, and developing required documentation to effectively and efficiently carry out the mission
  • PMP training and certification is desirable
