Work Location: Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH

Education: BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Hardware or similar field is required

Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in MC Access development.

Certification: Current Security+

Travel: Occasional

Job Duties:

• Under general supervision, designs, implements and maintains moderately complex databases.
• Maintains database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design.
• Competent to work on most phases of databases administration but may require some instruction or guidance in other phases.
• Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts.
• Performs database administration (DBA) services including installation, configuration, administration, performance monitoring, tuning, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for operational and developmental databases
• Develop database solutions using MS Access that meet customer-provided requirements
• Facilitate customer review and training of database solutions
• Develop system documentation
• Serve as back-up for organizational in-processing training

Required Skills

• Expertise in MS Access development
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• An active current Secret clearance
• A minimum of three years of experience in MC Access development
• BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Hardware or similar field is required
• Current Security+ certification
