Certification: DoD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT Level III- Any ONE of the following would qualify: CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) - Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) required Education: BS Degree in CS or IT

Experience: Minimum six years of demonstrated/practical hands-on experience performing defense assessment analysis in a DoD network environment

Job Duties: The Defense Assessment Analyst will conduct persistent penetration testing on all supported networks. Typical daily duties will include:

• Execute tactical over watch operations and network surveillance of the Department of Defense Information Network - Army to conduct open network testing.
• Verify network deficiencies by identifying potential weaknesses and circumventing the defensive posture to gain access onto the network and recommending mitigation actions.
• Maintain and document training and use of all vetted Penetration Testing (PT) Tools.
• Conduct Web Assessment of all registered public facing web sites.
• Analyze results to rule out false positives.
• Address Cross-Site Scripting, SQL inject, embedded passwords, and common port
• Minimum six years of demonstrated/practical hands-on experience performing defense assessment analysis in a DoD network environment
• Have a thorough understanding of Federal Information Processing Standards Publication (FIPS) 199, Standards for Security Categorization of Federal Information and Information Systems.
• Knowledge of ARCYBER Computer Defense Assistance Program (CDAP) tools.

Qualifications:

• Active/current TS+ clearance
• DoD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT Level III- Any ONE of the following would qualify: CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) - Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) required
• Must be willing and able to work shift work when needed
