S4 Inc. currently has a great opportunity for a driven, influential, collaborative, and innovative individual with the right mix of strategic vision, proven leadership and knowledge of full business development life cycle to lead the company's business development activities.

As a crucial member of S4's Executive Team, the Director of Business Development will participate in company-wide decision making as we rely on our entire team to provide strategic direction and overall leadership for the growth and marketing functions to drive revenue growth, profits, and talent development. This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional relationships with customers, management, and staff while developing winning strategies to expand current solutions offerings and identifying, pursuing, and capturing new opportunities.

This leadership role is responsible for:

  • Partnering with the CEO and Executive Team to drive the strategic vision of the company while providing thoughtful leadership, guidance, and oversight of key business development, capture, proposal, marketing and operational activities.
  • Leading the maturation and execution of the corporate growth, business development and sales to DOD, DHS and Federal Civilian Agencies.
  • Leading the building of fundamental processes for continuous evaluation of market activity to help the company quickly and systematically evaluate new opportunities.
  • Work in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team to establish objectives and the development of long-range, strategic, and tactical plans.
  • Expected to help spearhead the annual strategic planning process and be a companywide asset to assist people across the company in implementation of strategic projects.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing S4 's growth strategy by aligning business methods, capabilities, and technologies to federal budgets and the Company's goals.
  • Build partnerships with Industry leaders and other companies with relevant capabilities.
  • Lead large-scale captures for the company, to include the development of overall capture strategies, proposal win strategies, technical/management strategies, and pricing strategies.
  • Build relationships with current customer base.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be passionate in leading a diverse team in a culture where leaders are approachable, engaged, committed, and focused on our employees and our customers.
  • Experience and ability to increase our Pwin
  • High level contacts within Industry. Familiarity with DoD Agencies and customer base.
  • Experience leading a business through periods of dynamic changes and challenges.
  • Background in the Federal Contracting space, USAF experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of combined experience in strategy, business development, profit and loss management, capture, pricing and proposals all the while driving top-line growth.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Security Clearance highly desired
