S4 Inc. is currently looking for Joint Electronic Warfare (EW) Operational Planners/Instructor, to work in the JEWC in San Antonio, TX. In this position you will be responsible for providing Subject Matter Expertise on Joint EW capabilities, planning, and operational execution. The JEWC is the joint center of excellence for EW.  The center provides direct support to the Combatant Commanders and their appointed subordinate commanders in the planning and execution of EW.  The JEWC is a selectively manned, geographically separated, element of USSTRATCOM which provides EW expertise to the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the military services, and other DoD agencies.

 

Job Duties: The individual in n this position will be required to:

  • Analyze, plan, develop, and conduct the JEWC's Joint EW training programs and activities IAW joint training standards.
  • Analyze, plan, develop, and conduct the JEWC's Joint EW Training Oversight processes, programs, and activities.
  • Support JEWC internal training activities as EW and/or Military Intelligence Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Plan, develop, and conduct administrative management for all training branch operations.

 

Qualifications: All personnel selected for these positions must possess:

  • More than twelve (12) years of demonstrated experience at the strategic, operational, and/or tactical level of US military EW activities including experience in Joint EW operations and planning, and in-depth knowledge of DOD, Joint, and Service EW-related doctrine, policy, objectives, capabilities, planning processes, and employment dynamics.
  • More than ten (10) years of demonstrated experience as an instructor in a US military EW-related or similar training program, with experience as a military formal platform instructor or similar activity.
  • More than five (5) years of demonstrated experience as an instructor in a US military Joint training program, with a minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, modifying, and obtaining Joint Staff certification as required in the following: Joint EW-related training plans, syllabi, instructor guides, lesson plans, courseware, and evaluations, to include highly technical EW-related curriculum IAW accepted Instructional System Design (ISD) concepts, methods, and techniques.
  • More than five (5) years of demonstrated program management experience conducting US military-related processes and programs, including experience managing military training programs to include short- and long-term course scheduling, academic resource and training aid acquisition and maintenance, and course execution activities, particularly those associated with Joint EW training and educational programs.
  • More than three (3) years of demonstrated experience managing Joint EW Training Oversight activities including organizing and conducting Joint EW Training Oversight working group meetings either live or virtually.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and to present operationally-relevant, and often technical, EW-related materials to audiences ranging from small work groups to large conferences.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and lead others in studies and/or projects, advise and assist management, and implement approved actions.
  • Ability to assess and/or evaluate training programs against instructions, training objectives, and policy.
  • Experience monitoring and evaluating student performance, providing effective feedback to students, and tracking training completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of US DOD security, classification, and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) handling regulations and procedures.

 

Experience: Having experience with the following is highly desired:

  • Experience working with Allied EW-related doctrine, policies, capabilities, planning processes and employment dynamics.
  • Experience working with DOD Universal Joint Task List and Joint Mission Essential Task processes and policies.
  • Experience working with US DOD security clearance procedures including foreign visitor procedures.
  • Experiences working with physical resource and supply acquisition, maintenance, and disposition processes.
  • Experience working with US military classified video teleconference procedures and processes.
  • Experience working with US Navy Corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS) and US Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) training record program management and processing.
  • Ability to operate, update, modify, and/or maintain Microsoft Access (2013) databases and Microsoft Excel (2013) files to support program operations, and utilize Microsoft Visual-Basic to integrate/automate program operations.
  • Ability to operate, update, modify, and/or maintain Branch SharePoint sites.
