Overview: Provide services to develop and conduct vulnerability assessments in accordance with OSD, Joint Staff, USSTRATCOM direction and guidance, Service, and Combatant Command direction and guidance and the JEPAC mission, as well as develop, document and continuously improve the JEPAC vulnerability assessment process model. You will research and understand emerging, relevant EW/EMS technology at multiple classification levels and strive to incorporate appropriate systems into JEPAC assessments.
Specific Duties:
- Assess the readiness of operational electromagnetic spectrum operations capabilities
- Identifying gaps and limitations
- Delivering timely and relevant assessment results that enable data-driven decisions and electromagnetic spectrum operations capability
Skills:
- Critical thinking skill, both qualitatively and quantitatively
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to prepare a well-grounded and defensible argument
- Understands the interrelationships between domain of expertise and other domains
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- The Technical Advisor must possess over 12 years of demonstrated relevant experience in the following:
- Operational EW experience and management of complex EW projects and programs at the Major Command (MAJCOM), Service, or Combatant Command (CCMD) level
- Providing subject matter expertise in military operations, EW, assessment and evaluation/operations research, and management
- Creating and leading a multi-tiered IPT structure permitting the government to leverage the contractor personnel to perform multiple tasks con/currently
- Demonstrated knowledge of current National policy, JEMSO strategy, and associated spectrum related publications
- Advising JEPAC activities and strategy as it relates to future and current JEMSO policy, studies, and assessments
- Providing guidance during JEPAC assessment development to ensure technical and academic standards are met
- Training and certification as a PMP is highly desired
