Certification: Certified IAW the IAT level II candidates are highly desired

Education: HS Diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience

JOB SUMMARY: Provides system transition support at the work site.   Duties include but not limited to the following duty responsibilities listed below.    Note, all tasks will be accomplished IAW the publications specified in the PWS.

 

Job Duties:

  • Supports AFSPC's transition activities as AFSPC assumes responsibility for provisioning enterprise services from the Major Commands (MAJCOMs).
  • Minimize AFSPC's transition risk by testing and validating system requirements and objectives, as designated by the Government POC.
  • Facilitates system configuration control, based on validated mission needs, and assists CYSS in preventing runaway requirements.
  • Provides evaluations, assessments, and recommend operational processes. 
  • Evaluates stakeholder requirements through robust program governance structures, coordinate with MAJCOM and Air Staff, and inform stakeholders of AFSPC decisions.
  • Prepares bullet background papers, staff summary sheets, presentation slides, newsletters, meeting minutes, and emails to be used as tools to communicate Air Force and AFSPC KO-EIS strategy to the stakeholders to maintain two-way communication. 
  • Assesses and develops prioritized requirements captured through established governance processes, lessons learned, stakeholder engagements, user feedback, or site surveys. Based on feedback received, proposes solutions to the Government POC for training, policy, or system changes.  Plan's stakeholder conferences, program governance or requirements boards, and meetings for the KO/EIS programs. 
  • Presents studies, analyses, or serve as SMEs during these events. These conferences may be done via Defense Collaboration Services (DCS), teleconference, or video teleconference. Member may also be required to travel to attend these conferences. 
  • Participates in the development of KO/EIS test plans and objectives in coordination with Government or other contractor SMEs, as designated by the Government POC. Provides realistic scenarios that are within range of end user acceptability levels.
  • Advocates stakeholder requirements during developmental, operational, and user acceptance testing phases.  
  • Presents recommendations at any of the major milestones (design develop, and field) and prior to the fielding decision of a KO/EIS program based on suitability to the government's program objectives and the required accountability for cost, schedule, and performance. 
  • Determines KO/EIS suitability to Government objectives from test reports and provide Milestone Decision Authority appropriate milestones or fielding recommendations. 
  • Recommends policy changes resulting from repeated KO/EIS user issues such as content compliance, currency, or structure.
  • Analyzes the KO/EIS for content currency and policy compliance. Identifies trends and recommend policy changes to improve compliance. 
  • Provides help desk problem resolution for the Microsoft O365 OneDrive for Business and O365 Office Suite services. Submits Microsoft support tickets during service transition and provides problem ticket tracking using existing services provided by the Government. 
  • Supports meetings, IPTs, and PMRs as needed.
