Job Title: FULL-TIME Project Manager Location: Huntsville, AL Salary: Commensurate with experience Employment: FULL-TIME Clearance: Secret Please note that you must be a US citizen to apply for this position Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five (5) years of experience in hiring and personnel actions, project management and in customer interface positions S4 AL13-009 The candidate must have experience with executing personnel actions to include hiring actions and providing employee feedback as needed.  We are seeking a candidate to join our team that manages programs under Army and other contract vehicles at Redstone Arsenal, as well as other locations as needed. This work entails supporting project personnel who work 24/7/365.  

The successful candidate will have program management experience including the management of multiple technical projects throughout their lifecycle and successful program execution. In addition, knowledge and understanding of Army systems, applications, integration and interoperability concepts, and systems architecture and design, will enhance the candidate's qualifications for this position. An individual who has strong Army background in IT and/or missiles or logistics is highly desirable.  Must have ability to visit assigned employees on base at least twice a week at various times due to 24/7 support. Specific Duties: The Project Manager assists in all facets of technical project and program lifecycles such as initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and close-out; builds and maintains solid working relationships with customers, workforce staff, subcontractors and suppliers; and supports Program Manager's effort to increase Army or DoD work through proposals and marketing. The Project Manager will take all appropriate measures to mitigate any issues that impact cost, schedule or scope. The support will include the following: Executing Program Management Reviews (PMR); Managing Meetings, Reports and Conference calls; Executing Project Planning and Coordination; Directing project team personnel; managing scope, cost and schedule; ensuring full contract compliance; and serving as principal customer interface; Effectively collaborating with customers on activities including program's accomplishments and successes, as well as, mitigating any conflicts and risks; Continuously identifying, documenting, and providing mitigations for program risks; Providing leadership in schedule development and execution; ensuring project deliverables and milestones are identified, tracked, and executed on time; Interfacing with Technical Team leads to ensure continuity of effort for programmatic and technical efforts Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five (5) years of experience in project management and in customer interface positions; Ability to maintain a Clearance; Strong organizational, documentation, and communications skills; Experience managing projects of $1M per year or more in revenue is desired; Experience with Redstone Arsenal or other nearby Army programs and equipment is desired

       Self-starter who can work personnel issues such as hiring and personnel actions of workers

       Prior proposal writing experience and ability to work business development captures is desired
