Education: BS/BA; and 3 years of experience

Experience: 5 years of relevant professional experience (or a combination of education, training, and experience)

Certification: Current Security +CE, and current Windows 10 or higher certification, and ITIL v3 Foundations (or must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire)

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7 am to 4 pm (must be willing and able to work outside of these hours)

Travel: Occasional

Salary: Commensurate with experience

LCAT Help Desk Lead (N2C2)

 

Position Description/ Summary:

 

  • Provide oversight, scheduling and leadership to a small team of support personnel;
  • Provide Service Desk support to NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N&NC) users;
  • Support Request Fulfillment by supporting the installation of standard requests, both on-site and remotely;
  • Conduct quality customer follow-up on open Incidents and Service Requests;
  • Perform software installations and upgrades;
  • Ensure proper security practices are in accordance with established IT policies and procedures;
  • Show initiative and act independently to resolve problems, manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects/tasks to completion;
  • Skillfully handle difficult situations and customers;
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Current Top Secret+ clearance
  • Current  Security+ CE and current Windows 10 (or higher) certification
  • ITILv3 Foundations (or must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • BS/BA; and 3 years of experience, or 5 years of relevant professional experience (or a combination of education, training, and experience)
  • Must have operational software experience
  • Required to have operational hardware experience with multi-vendor laptops and workstations, HP Printers, and common workstation peripherals
  • Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer
  • Willingness to commit to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication
