Job Title: IT Enterprise Architect

Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Clearance: Current active Top Secret

Education: BS/BA with /10 years of experience or 15 years of experience without a degree

Certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level II, includes Security+ CE and an O/S such as Juniper, VMWare, Microsoft Server 2012 MCSA or MCSE

Schedule: As required

Travel: Occasional

Contract Labor Category:  IT Systems Solution Architect

Specific Duties:

• Provide oversight for project installations, deployments, operational acceptance for multiple projects
• Work with project lead engineers to ensure project schedules are being met and identify any constraints/concerns
• Work with Network Engineers to schedule installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
• Ensure technical documents (SDP, RDP, SVAT plans, BOMs, diagrams, etc) are developed and adhere to strict output specifications, meet project requirements, and written at an high engineering level
• Must be committed to the highest standard of customer service with outstanding oral and written communication
• Provide Tier III support for operational staff; may require after-hours, phone or on-site support
• Coordinate vendor support and evaluate products and recommend purchases consistent with the organization's short and long-term objectives
• Support customer (technical) meetings and ensure compliance with project requirements and overall architectural design
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance

• BS/BA with 10 years of experience; or 15 years of experience without a degree, or a commensurate combination of education, training, and experience 
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication 
• Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer 
• Ability to multi-task,  Solutions driven a plus
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Broad experience with network transport protocols, server systems (virtual and physical systems) and the interoperations of these systems 
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II, includes Security+ CE and an O/S such as Juniper, VMWare, Microsoft Server 2012 MCSA or MCSE
• Extensive VISIO background with network drawings and architecture

Preferred Skills

• ITILv3 Foundations preferred (must be willing to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Knowledge of System Center Service Management (SCSM)
• Knowledge of Sparkx software
• Strong investigative drive and listening skills, self-motivated individuals 
• The ability to work under pressure and be flexible with their time 
• Able to think outside the box and make decisions quickly 
• Ability to prioritize and document tasks is a plus
