Overview

The Installation Desktop Technician is responsible for assisting staff with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment and software. You will be a member of technical implementation team fulfilling a wide variety of technical service requests where excellent customer service and professional expertise are required. You will support customer installations and support in person, remote desktop and/or by phone. Must be focused on working with a team and coordinating with team members to solve complex issues.

Job Duties:

• Provide a high-level of customer service to all customers including effective
• Installs, configures, and upgrades computer hardware and software which includes the migration of
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and
• Applies advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend
• Contribute to departmental policies and procedures related to computer hardware, software installations and customer
• Support Windows 10, Mac OS, iOS, and
• Receive and respond to incoming calls, and/or work orders regarding desktop and/or laptop
• Perform delivery of IT Equipment as well returning to stock of
• Provides phone and help-desk support for local and off-site users.

Qualifications:

• Must pass background investigation for a Public Trust
• Must be a US citizen
• Must possess one of the following certifications: MCSA or MCP or ACSP
• Associate's degree in computer centered discipline. A Bachelor's degree in a computer centered discipline preferred
• 5+ years of directly related experience supporting IT operations with Windows 10 and in Active Directory
• Intermediate level of experience in MAC/PC hybrid environments including mobile
• Provide IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft core business applications and operating
• Must have of 1-year experience with JAMF (SCM platform) and SCCM/PXE for Windows.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effetely prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
• Extensive equipment support
• Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems (Windows 10/MacOS) and
