Job Duties: Must have hands-on experience with BMC Remedy Administration.  Under general direction, responsible for activities related to system administration. Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work. Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of Remedy software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

 

 

Will support the following while also providing network and server support in a Windows environment:

 

  • Administration of the Remedy ITSM suite
  • Incident Management
  • Change Management
  • Problem Management
  • Service Request Management
  • Asset Management
  • Remedy CMDB

 

  • Remedy Development and custom configurations
  • Customizing/troubleshooting Remedy forms, fields, work-flows, processes, templates
  • Customizing/troubleshooting Remedy mail services, mail rules, mail forms, notification rules
  • Building custom reports/searches

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Current/Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Information Systems and/or 10 years hands-on IT experience with at least 7 of those years providing Remedy Admin support or equivalent
  • Minimum Information Assurance Management (IAT) Level II certification in accordance with DoD
  • 01-Manual (CompTIA Security +)

 

Skills:

  • Ability to deal with difficult customers
  • Pleasant demeanor and knowledgeable telephone skills
  • Previous hands on experience in all facets of systems administration/network management
