The services required for this position include providing non-personal services in support of policy, plans, procedures, actions, and milestones necessary for efficient conduct of joint training. The individual in this position will provide expert advice to the Commander/director on the four Phases of the CJCS Joint Training System (JTS): Requirements, Plans, Execution, and Assessment. He or she will have a working knowledge of the Joint Training System and the organizational operating procedures as well as familiarity with policies, plans, and procedures defined by the Government customer.

Required Skills: The work will require expertise, practical operational analysis experience, and technical support in:
• Drafting, providing and staffing for Government approval the input to Tab A of the Joint Training Plan (JTP), Commander's Training Guidance, as well as the Commands' Publication 7;
• Review subordinate Joint Training Plans and Schedules for alignment with HQ NORAD-USNORTHCOM (HQ N-NC) plans and schedules and provide recommendations for adjustments;
• Update the JTP development handbook describing the organizationally tailored process to be used by training and education representatives, training audience leaders, and users of the JTS tools in the development of a Joint Training Plans and Schedules;
• Provide joint lessons learned expertise in support of operations and Joint training events and exercises;
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution training events to include: coordinating attendance, facilities, training materials and discussion questions, conduct registration and attendee check-in and provide discussion results

Qualifications:
• Active TS+ security clearance
• Knowledge of NORAD-NORTHCOM Mission and systems
• Experience with JTS and JTP processes
• Bachelor's degree or directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
