Job Duties:
The services required for this position include providing non-personal services in support of policy, plans, procedures, actions, and milestones necessary for efficient conduct of joint training. The specialist will provide expert advice to the Commander/director on the four Phases of the CJCS Joint Training System (JTS): Requirements, Plans, Execution, and Assessment. The individual in this position must have a working knowledge of the Joint Training System and the organizational operating procedures as well as familiarity with policies, plans, and procedures defined by the Government customer.

Requisite Skills: The work will require expertise, practical operational analysis experience, and technical support in the following areas:
• Collect and manage Training Proficiency Observations (TPOs) and Training Proficiency Evaluations (TPEs)
• Ability to review and proposes draft Training Proficiency Assessments (TPAs) and Mission Training Assessments (MTAs) for the Commander's/Director's assessment.
• Provide support to enable Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) utilization during the four phases of the JTS, to include training Command personnel on the use of JTIMS.
• Provide joint lessons learned expertise in support of operations and Joint training events and exercises
• Provide support to the Commands' Corrective Action Program to include developing draft schedules and briefings and shall support the lessons learned program integration based on Joint Staff guidance
• Provide pre-event reports for known major exercises/events (i.e. VIGILANT SHIELD/ ARDENT SENTRY and established NSSEs) and significant seasonal operations (hurricanes, floods, wildfires, etc.) synopsizing previous actions captured in JLLIS, after action reports, and other relevant sources prior to concept development conferences/meetings for exercises

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of NORAD-NORTHCOM Mission and systems
• Experience with JTS and JTIMS processes
• Active TS
