The services required for this position include providing non-personal services in support of policy, plans, procedures, actions, and milestones necessary for efficient conduct of joint training. The individual in this position will provide expert advice to the Commander/Director on the four Phases of the CJCS Joint Training System (JTS): Requirements, Plans, Execution, and Assessment. He or she will have a working knowledge of the Joint Training System and the organizational operating procedures as well as familiarity with policies, plans, and procedures defined by the Government customer.

Required Skills: The work will require expertise, practical operational analysis experience, and technical support in:
• Collecting and managing Training Proficiency Observations (TPOs) and Training Proficiency Evaluations (TPEs);
• Reviewing and proposing draft Training Proficiency Assessments (TPAs) and Mission Training Assessments (MTAs) for the Commander's/Director's assessment;
• Providing support to enable Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) utilization during the four phases of the JTS, to include training Command personnel on the use of JTIMS;
• Providing joint lessons learned expertise in support of operations and Joint training events and exercises;
• Providing support to the Commands' Corrective Action Program to include developing draft schedules and briefings and shall support the lessons learned program integration based on Joint Staff guidance;
• Providing pre-event reports for known major exercises/events (i.e. VIGILANT SHIELD/ ARDENT SENTRY and established NSSEs) and significant seasonal operations (hurricanes, floods, wildfires, etc.) synopsizing previous actions captured in JLLIS, after action reports, and other relevant sources prior to concept development conferences/meetings for exercises

Qualifications:
• Active TS+ security clearance
• Knowledge of NORAD-NORTHCOM Mission and systems
• Experience with JTS and JTIMS processes
• Bachelor's degree or directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
