Education & Experience: Associate's degree in Technology Engineering or Computer Information Systems related field with a minimum of five years of experience

Schedule: Monday Friday day shift

Overview: In this position you will be providing support to the Standoff Munitions Applications Center, a component of the Joint-Global Stirke Operations Center (J-GSOC), located at Barksdale AFB, LA and other locations within the CONUS and OCONUS.   

 

Specific Duties:

  • Provide installation and maintenance of communications units to ensure an unbroken access to classified and unclassified Internet Protocol and telephony networks.
  • Maintaining inventories of and providing on-site repair of communication equipment
  • Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and assistance with the development, design, installation, and security of emerging SMAC capabilities and facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Active/current Top Secret+ DoD security clearance
  • 5+ years' experience analyzing, explaining, and implementing new technology and evaluating the impacts of the new technology on the mission
  • Must possess and Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II certification (CASP CE, CAP, CISM, CISSP, GSLC) pursuant to DOSI 8570.01
  • Demonstrated experience with or operational knowledge of systems integration methods, performance tuning methods, test and evaluation methods and procedures, IT security principles and methods and project management principles and methods sufficient enough to plan and coordinate the installation of new products and
  • More than one (1) year of relevant experience with executing RMF processes as a primary duty or task and demonstrated knowledge of processes within the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Demonstrated experience with installing, maintaining and modifying computer and network systems and advising as to new system needs based on mission requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with maintaining, troubleshooting and configuring Network Appliances, Windows Servers and Virtual Desktops.

 

 

In addition, personnel are required to have at least one of the following qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in executing Transient Electromagnetic Pulse Emanation Surveillance Technology (TEMPEST) certifications and understanding of TEMPEST restrictions within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facility (SAPF).

 

OR

 

  • Demonstrated relevant experience with and knowledge of software design principles, methodologies and approaches used in developing, coding, testing, debugging and maintaining software applications.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience with the MS Windows environment including registry, batch files and Group Policy updates for patches.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience with the MS Windows Server environment, managing client accounts through the server environment and building and configuring domain controllers.
