USSTRATCOM JFCC Global Strike/J62, PS IPT requires Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for specified BSA tasks related to Integrated Strategic Planning and Analysis Network (ISPAN)/ Mission Planning and Analysis System (MPAS). Our team will provide support to the collection of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) that support interactive planning activities, infrastructure management, and the new modernization programs are organized into ISPAN. The support of the Product Management IPT provides to each of the IPTs and the Global Strike planning community is crucial for the overall success of the program. The USSTRATCOM Enterprise Database (EDB) consists of a Command wide "logical" view of the C2 and ISPAN data, and independent physical implementations of each. The Product Management IPT provides services within both areas. The Product Management (PS) IPT provides support for the applications that compose the Data Management System (DMS), Document Production System (DPS), and the Geospatial Database, as well as day-to-day data management activities supporting the Global Strike mission. S4 will provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) and expertise with: research, analysis, identification, evaluation and cataloging potential intelligence and information sources supporting the IPTs and the Global Strike planning community.
Job Duties: Candidate will support the JFCC-GS/JF6 with Product Management Administrators (PMA) who will coordinate with the ISPAN PRODUCT SUPPORT FM and PM (Functional Manager and Program Manager respectively) on all matters related to the components of the EDB Architecture and/or EDB Database Administration (DBA) Staff.

Duties will include:
• Provide database engineering and consultative support to ensure the successful development and operation of the USSTRATCOM EDB used to support War Planning and C2 activities to OPLANs, Conventional Planning, Global Strike (GS), Information Operations (IO), Integrated Missile Defense (IMD), Space Operations, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Special Operations, and other new missions as they are identified.
• Support the technical integration of new applications and systems with the existing systems while supporting planners, users, and developers with technical assistance related to data architecture, content, and navigation for the EDB.
• Assist in all aspects of system life support for the Enterprise Data Model Manager (EDMM) tool and its underlying COTS) development tool(s) used to automate the documentation of EDB changes and generate EDB change forms (CFs) for implementation into the many physical database environments managed by the EDB IPT. EDMM is built and maintained using a COTS application called TenFold.
• Work with the appropriate USSTRATCOM IT personnel to ensure TenFold is installed, upgraded and configured properly. The TenFold tool is in transition and work with Government representatives to transition to the newest version of TenFold or identify/ develop potential replacement tools.
• Provide data management support to the EDB, to include: Coordinating Remedy Requests; supporting evaluation and testing of current and new data management software tools for suitability to perform data management functions; assisting with identification of data requirements and associated metadata and supporting technical solutions for DoD program requirements.
Requisite Personnel Qualifications:

Qualifications:
• Possess twelve or more years in the following areas: Relational database management systems (e.g. Sybase and Oracle) and the SQL language; Nuclear War Planning in a database area and a demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the various phases of war planning and providing support with applications prototyping using a full spectrum of applications tools including UNIX scripts, SQL scripts and 3GL and 4GL languages.
• Twelve or more years' experience (or five years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, management information systems, computer science, or information technology or similar field of study): working systems engineering that includes experience on software intensive projects; providing database requirements analysis and engineering and knowledge of the relationship between operational, technical, and systems architectures.
• Knowledge of operating systems and programming languages, web technologies, communication and software development processes.
• Five to twelve years' experience and knowledge in military operations/strategic domain.
• Current Information Assurance certification is desired in compliance with DoD 8570.01-M. CompTIA Security+ certification is desired within six (6) months of contract start...
• Excellent writing and speaking skills and three (3) or more years' experience using Microsoft Office Products.
