Position Description:   

Responsible for day-to-day site operations, resolving issues and/or escalating to higher management as appropriate.  Works with the on-site COR to resolve issues as appropriate, supports senior government personnel in the performance and coordination and synchronization of core information technology (IT) services in support of customer mission.  Focus areas will be Project Management/Requirements Processing, and the support of New Technologies being introduced and adopted into the mission.   Provides comprehensive hand-off to next shift in the schedule.

Job Duties:     

• Support IT Enterprise architecture services, planning, engineering, project management and configuration.
• Oversee day-to-day operational staff on-site.
• Evaluate existing projects/requirements and make recommendations to government counterparts as to which should be continued.
• Process and track customer requirements, engineer solutions and manage project implementation IAW on-site guidance for Planning, coordination and Implementation.
• Support Enterprise Master Integrated Schedule, tracking milestones, major projects, completion dates (i.e., Microsoft Project Management type program (Gantt charts)).
• Support contracts and provide logistics management capability for unit systems (material control, project logistics).
• Produce Implementation Plan for approved projects and programs.
• Implement Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Process to support organizational increase efficiency and improve on high reliable IT services and processes.
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with all guidelines.
• Implement the approved plans and add metrics for technology changes.

Qualifications:

• Active/current Secret clearance
• BS degree in technical discipline with 8-10 years of experience
• PMP certification
• Significant experience with IT concepts, practices, procedures and industry standards.
• Proficient in MS Office tools, to include MS Project.
• Demonstrated experience as a senior IT project manager.
• ITIL certification will be required within 3 months of hire.
