Job Duties:

Programmer must have a working knowledge of all components of the Microsoft Visual Studio suite and the ability to interface (and develop interfaces) with MS SQL and Oracle databases, World Wide Web applications and Open Database Connection (ODBC) utilities. Application programmers must have solid oral and written communication skills and be able to write clear and effective software documentation. Five years of object-oriented application programming experience including requirements gathering, application design, and prototyping as well as at least three years of experience with software and regression testing and application implementation are required.

Qualifications:

• Current/Active TS
• Programming Support Task Leaders must possess all qualifications of the Application Programmer, Level III. The special expertise waiver referenced in section 5.0 cannot be applied here. In order to participate in the implementation of systems and system enhancements, personnel in this category must also possess any clearances and certifications required to receive privileged or administrative access to AFCEE computer systems.
• Skills: Ability to deal with difficult customers, Pleasant demeanor and knowledgeable telephone skills
• Previous hands on experience in all facets of systems administration/network management

This contract supports functions described in DoD 8570.01-M and AFMAN 33-285.  Unless waivered, personnel performing System Administrator, Information Assurance Officer, Information Assurance Manager, or any other IA duties must be appropriately certified IAW DoD 8570.01-M and AFMAN 33-285 prior to providing IA services IAW this contract
