Certification: ITIL v3 Foundations Certification (must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire)

Specific Duties:

  • Works in fast paced environment, managing assignment to complete them within the appointed time frames and IAW the Government/commercial requirements
  • Develop task order proposals on a FFP contract based on Performance Work Statement (PWS)/Request for Information (RFI) requirements
  • Experienced proposal writing in responding to Government Request for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Analysis RFPs to determine how best to respond, and verify all requirements are addressed.
  • Tech writing and/or quality assurance experience
  • Manage proposal process to develop proposals based on PWS or RFP requirements
  • Lead the proposal milestones and insure on time delivery
  • Develop Statement of Work (SOW) to present to outside sub-contractors
  • Work closely with Contract Admin to ensure all requirements are passed down to sub-contractors as required
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager (PM) and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and package the technical information for the proposal.
  • Gather, document and manage IT requirements from internal and external clients
  • Assist Quality/Governance and Command personnel and other stakeholders in understanding requirements and proposed functionality
  • Support Process/Service Owners and Process/Service Managers in developing and fostering client relationships
  • Developed service packages (ROMs for materials and services to be delivered to the Government customer)
  • Coordinate with project manager on changes or development of project documents as needed
  • Perform as a Project Coordinator or Lead as needed
  • Ensure business cases and validate portfolio data
  • Maintain accuracy of all active and approved services
  • Define and maintain End-user and Technical-user dashboards and catalogs
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills:

  • Experience preparing, reviewing, editing, certifying, and controlling technical documents
  • Must possess excellent skills in grammar, spelling, writing/sentence structure, time management, research, and organizational and planning skills
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills

 

Qualifications:

  • Current/active Secret clearance
  • Successful candidates should have a Bachelors degree and 2+ years relevant experience in a DoD environment (or 5 years of relevant experience without a degree)
  • ITILv3 Foundations certification or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hiring
  • Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer.
