LCAT: Project Manager

Specific Duties:

• Oversee team of Project Managers and multiple projects
• Create Project Management weekly status reports, coordinate and plan meetings, document meeting discussions and action items
• Track and manage overall project status so project milestones are met and change activity is properly documented
• Manage projects to include allocation of resources, budget tracking and status reports
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Provide Program Monthly Status Reports to internal business leaders as well as external stakeholders
• Provide separate weekly Technical Status Meetings (TSMs) with the COR, Technical Government Managers and other key Government personnel
• Provide a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for all assigned projects
• Develop and maintain a Project Management Plan and Project Schedule that includes tasks, dependencies, resources and interrelations
• Develop and maintain a Risk Management Plan and Risk Register; develop mitigations, track and update as required
• Develop and maintain a Communication Plan that identifies all stakeholders (Government, contractors and others)
• Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance Plan that describes the processes and procedures for ensuring all delivered products and services satisfy contractual agreements, meet or exceed quality standards, and comply with approved processes
• Coordinate development, staffing and update of Service Design and Release and Deployment plans
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Manage execution of multiple projects, resolving issues as they arise

Skills:  

• Strong understanding and use of Microsoft Project
• Experience with Process Control
• Advanced Time Management and analytical skills
• Maintaining the highest standard of customer service
• Understanding of USAF/DoD systems and Projects a plus
• Involvement managing Rich Media/VTC projects a plus
• Knowledge managing Software Upgrade projects a plus
• Strong investigative drive and listening skills
• Self-motivated individual
• Management of stress, short deadlines, and customer driven changes
• Excellent client-facing communication skills
• Able to think outside the box and make decisions quickly
• Ability to prioritize and document tasks is a plus 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree (or 5-10 experience managing IT projects)
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• ITILv3 Foundations Level Certification (desired)
• Experienced in successfully managing projects requiring strong collaboration between IT and business stakeholders
• Ensure project provides business value exceeding customer expectations
• Knowledgeable of how to utilize technical expertise to successfully perform quality control on deliverables and services produced by the team that they manage
• In addition to managing the project or project team, expect to actively contribute to operational activities
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong investigative drive and listening skills, self-motivated individuals
• The ability to work under pressure, stress, and be flexible with their time
• Ability to work autonomously, self-starter
• Able to think outside the box and make decisions quickly
• Ability to prioritize and document tasks is a plus
