CLC: SOCNORTH NAR Analyst

Job Duties:

        Plan, coordinate, seek resourcing for and facilitate the execution of Non-Conventional Assisted Recovery (NAR) activities in the NORTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).  Develop a network of personnel supporting the SOCNORTH NAR program.

        Conduct periodic analysis of United States Government (USG) Personnel Recovery (PR) capabilities, identify gaps in coverage in operational areas and identify potential areas of interest where conventional recovery methods are not feasible. 

        Track Special Operations Force's (SOF) Operations and Sensitive Activities that occur in hostile or non-permissive environments where conventional recovery methods are incapable of mitigating risk to the force.

        Collaborate in a Joint Interagency, Intergovernmental Multinational Environment to establish NAR solutions for high-risk DoD personnel operations in challenging environments. 

        In coordination with J3X, Contribute to the development of Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) through NORTHCOM and the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA).

        Build training for staff and high-risk operators on threats in operating areas and strategies for dealing with PR activities. 

        Track expenditures relating to NAR activities in coordination with the SOCNORTH J8 directorate and other supporting agencies and build reports as required.

Required Skills: The work will require expertise, and practical operational experience in support of the SOCNORTH mission:

        Understanding of the USNORTHCOM and SOCNORTH organizations and missions.

        NAR experience.

        PR experience

        Previous experience working with the JPRA

Qualifications:

        Experience supporting NAR activities

        Experience with PR

        Experience working with the JPRA
