Job Duties:
• Assist in the coordination and integration of such aspects of systems acquisition as engineering, procurement, financial management, environmental management, configuration, test, manufacturing, and integrated logistics support in order to effectively assist in the implementation of program direction
• Assist in the evaluation of contractor proposals and activities
• Assist in supporting the areas of process automation, AF Smart Operations (AFSO) 21 and portfolio management
• Perform a wide range of program management activities, such as:
o Gather a variety of program information
o Conduct analyses
o Assist in acquisition strategy planning, pre-award and post-award document preparation, milestone planning, tracking, and scheduling
o Implement contractor performance status systems
o Assist in establishing and maintaining databases
o Assist in developing and analyzing key program metrics
o Assist in developing and integrating risk management plans and strategies
o Support program briefings
o Assist in surveillance of weapon system prime contractor and subcontractor performance
o Assist in determining program progress effectively communicating recommendations orally and in writing to higher organizational management
Required Skills:
• Knowledge and experience in acquisition management and program management philosophy, policies and procedures to Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, source selection activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
• Employment of integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Air Force Acquisition Management or Program Management experience
