LCAT: Senior Network Specialist

Overview: S4 Inc. is looking for a Network Specialist to provide analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, man-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution. In this position you will be responsible for integrated system test requirements, strategies, devices, and systems. You will direct overall system-level testing.

Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot, isolate, resolve network systems issues, and make improvements to the network when necessary.
• Oversee the installation, configuring, servicing, repairing, and maintaining hardware and software for network services, storage and network devices, and server systems.
• Integrate multiple information systems in local and dispersed networked environments.
• Evaluate and help resolve customers' information system problems.
• Implement required hardware upgrades and repairs inoperative devices to maintain mission capability.

In this position, there may be occasions requiring the Network Specialist to work evenings to coordinate and perform patches, upgrades, or fix actions with USSTRATCOM Network Operations and Security Center teams, other lines of service and vender support to maintain communications across multiple networks.

Qualifications:

Current active Top Secret+ security clearance

Current Security+ certification

12 years of relative industry experience

Experience working with federal regulations related to information security (FISMA, Computer Security Act, etc.)

Experience working with NIST Special Publications or related publications and the C & A process

Desired Qualifications:

ITIL v3 Foundation certification
