Overview: S4 Inc. employees selected for this position will be supporting system certification and integrity for multiple USSTRATCOM mission systems such as Integrated Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA); Theater Event System (TES), Missile Defense (MS) systems; COBRA DANE; Force Survivability, Analysis and Management Systems (FSAM); and Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES). The scope of this contract also applies to new or replacement systems and other systems as required by the government.

Job Description:

AMDOTS Systems/Network Administration - Provide system/network administrative functions using the latest server operating system to include:

• System recoverability, creating and testing backups of the data.
• System integrity, verifying and/or helping to verify data integrity.
• Database security, defining and/or implementing access controls to the data.
• System availability, ensuring maximum uptime of the network.
• System performance, ensuring maximum performance of the network given budgetary constraints.
• Enforce system security to allow users to efficiently access the data and enforce full system security without compromise to data access.
• Provide reports on the systems.
• Support maintaining a system administrator policy, a configuration control and management plan, and a disaster recovery and contingency plan for management of the systems.
• Maintain a system schema by mission functionality for the systems.
• Perform system-wide integrity tests to verify maximum throughput and efficiency is being obtained.
• Apply security vulnerability patching as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Shall have experience in computer science, engineering, space systems management, communications, mathematics, physical sciences, physics, space operations, systems engineering, engineering management, systems management, systems analysis or equivalent experience with studies in related fields, including strategic studies.
• Shall have experience in testing, analyzing, planning, operations, analytical studies, or systems development related to military space programs, simulations and systems.
• Shall have experience in automated data collection and retrieval, data analysis, Protogate Freeway design and configuration, FreeBSD operation, Transact SQL (T-SQL), Microsoft SQL Server development and administration, and C++ software development; internal and external network set up, configuration and support; network performance issues; operating system installation and maintenance, application installation and maintenance. Shall have experience in network/system administration using currently approved Windows server software.
• Shall each have Senior level (10 years or more) experience in any combination of years with ITW/AA; Theater Event System (TES); Missile Defense (MD) systems that are also ITW/AA systems, COBRA DANE, and the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications system; NC3 (e.g. Force Survivability, Analysis and Management System (FSAM), Nuclear Planning and Execution System, and Secure Messaging and Routing Terminal Next Generation); and space surveillance and control systems (space warning).
• Shall have Senior level (10 years or more) experience in any combination of years in automated data collection and retrieval, data analysis, T-SQL, currently approved Microsoft SQL Server development and administration, and C++ software development, and shall have Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification in accordance with the Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program (DoD Manual 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program).
• Shall be a United States citizen and comply with applicable program security requirements.
• Shall possess a Top Secret (TS)+
