Job Title: SharePoint Administrator

Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Certification: Current Security+ CE and current SharePoint 2012

Schedule: Monday Friday, some weekend work possible

Specific Duties:

  • Responsible for documenting, deployment, and administration of development code for Enterprise SharePoint farms
  • SQL Server 2012r2 management for SharePoint
  • Managing and troubleshooting Active Directory (AD), DNS, and Certificate Services (CA); including creating, managing, and troubleshooting Windows group policies (GPO) associated with SharePoint
  • Serve as a technical expert resource for IT Staff and departmental users for SharePoint
  • Monitoring sites, site creation, user permissions, server logs, Central Administration tasks, development of SQL maintenance plans, and creating PowerShell scripts for repetitive activities and server deployments/ installation and hardening
  • Recommend and implement solutions, software and tools to improve Portal performance and reliability
  • Coordinate with systems or communications engineering to resolve hardware problems.
  • Work with customers and operations staff in scheduling preventive and emergency maintenance
  • Other contract duties as assigned

 

Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience developing and implementing numerous SharePoint farms for large numbers of users (1000+).
  • 3+ years analyzing business requirements, review existing systems, define the solution, and translate that into designs and architectural documentation

 

Qualifications:

  • Active/current Secret clearance
  • Current Security+ CE certification and current SharePoint 2012 certification
  • Current ITILv3 Foundations certification required (or must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (or similar technical field) and 3+ years' relevant professional experience; or commensurate education and experience.
  • Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with application of DoD IAVAs and STIGs
  • Strong investigative drive and listening skills, self-motivated individuals
