Overview: S4 Inc. is looking for highly skilled Intelligence professionals to assist the Commander, United States Strategic Command (CDRUSSTRATCOM) with the mission of Strategic Deterrence, Space Operations, Joint Electronic Warfare, Global Strike, Global Missile Defense, and analysis and targeting. In this position you will be required to conduct extensive research and analysis of foreign space-related strategy, doctrine, tactics, operations, force structure and subordination, deployment and capabilities, and log-term trends.

 

Job Duties:

  • Conduct research and analysis of foreign space-related strategy, doctrine, tactics, operations, force structure and subordination, deployment and capabilities, and long-term trends.
  • Prepare, integrate, brief, and publish broad and complex all-source space intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessments in coordination with other Agency elements and the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Propose new or revised analytical products to alert decision makers to new developments and to meet customer requirements.
  • Participate on teams for special projects or studies of considerable scope and depth critical to the resolution of space and space control issues and problems, and interpret complex legislative, regulatory, and policy guidance to prepare recommendations for management.
  • Establish and maintain a network of contacts with component and national-level space intelligence organizations to maintain situational awareness.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Unified Command Plans (UCP) and Joint Staff Publication 3-14 as they pertain to space intelligence to assist with the development of CONOPs.
  • Advise and assist the Government in collection, coordination, presentation, prioritization, and dissemination of Combatant Command (CCMD) space requirements.
  • Maintain Government furnished databases and software applications, to include the use of visualization tools, in support of space intelligence analysis.
  • Attend relevant Government meetings as required in support of analyzing and planning for the Government.
  • Support USSTRATCOM in resolution of intelligence issues related to space and space control operations and planning support.
  • Provide analytical support for the development, validation, implementation, and modification of current and evolving Command and DoD planning documents requiring insight into foreign space doctrine, policy, intentions, and technology.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Command exercises, training events, war games, and crisis response operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Active current TS+
  • Five years of demonstrated relevant experience conducting extensive research and analysis of foreign space-related strategy, doctrine, tactics, operations, force structure and subordination, deployment and capabilities, and long-term trends.
  • Five years of demonstrated relevant experience preparing, integrating, briefing, and publishing broad and complex all-source space intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessments in coordination with other Agency elements and the IC on space control issues
  • Five years of demonstrated knowledge and understanding of UCP and Joint Staff Publication 3-14 (Space Operations) as they pertain to space intelligence support of Command responsibilities, CONOPs operations, and plans development.
  • Five years of demonstrated relevant experience advising and assisting the Government in collection, coordination, presentation, prioritization, and dissemination of CCMD space requirements.
  • Five years of relevant experience providing analytical support for the development, validation, implementation, and modification of current and evolving Command and DoD planning documents requiring insight into foreign space doctrine, policy, intentions, and technology.
  • Five years of direct intelligence analysis experience at an IC or DoD Intelligence Agency, Combatant Command, or DoD intelligence unit, of which at least eight years are on adversary space analysis, or 10 years of civilian intelligence analysis experience or equivalent academic experience. Credentialed SME or recognized expert who has authored/published intelligence products or civilian/academic pieces on adversary space issues.
