LCAT:

Overview: Provide services to develop and conduct vulnerability assessments in accordance with OSD, Joint Staff, USSTRATCOM direction and guidance, Service, and Combatant Command direction and guidance and the JEPAC mission, as well as develop, document and continuously improve the JEPAC vulnerability assessment process model. You will research and understand emerging, relevant EW/EMS technology at multiple classification levels and strive to incorporate appropriate systems into JEPAC assessments.

Specific Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day IT requirements at multiple classification levels, develop and execute plans to respond to routine and urgent IT issues
  • Prepare and respond, outside of normal duty hours, of planned and unplanned power or network outages that affect unit mission
  • Prepare, coordinate, and maintain System Security Authorization Agreements, System Security Plans, Certification and Accreditation packages, and other applicable documentation
  • Implement a version control system and IT Configuration Control Board that will retain and dramatically improve the existing process, increase overall control of data, and better maintain the IT systems and software
  • Provide content and information management services across all network security domains to include assisting with the management of identification, installation, configuration control, and maintenance of systems
  • Establish and maintain a local network and wide area network connectivity for multiple networks
  • Organize and coordinate the activities of IT Help Desk support personnel including the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of government IT assets

Qualifications:

  • The System Architect/Software Developer shall possess more than five years of demonstrated relevant experience in the following:
  • Developing, designing, and maintaining software solutions that enable effective and efficient product development and information sharing
  • Developing, adapting, and designing software in support of analytical requirements
  • Supporting data collection during assessment planning, execution, and analysis and facilitating data collection training
  • Facilitating data reduction, especially where software solutions have been developed to streamline tasks, to report calculate, and organize data
  • Assisting ans supporting IT Help Desk personnel with the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of IT assets and infrastructure
  • Designing, populating, and maintaining databases
  • Developing and administering data management systems and databases
  • Reviewing and evaluating proposed streamlined tasking, data sharing, visualization, and collaboration technologies to ensure compliance with applicable DoD information systems, security policies, directives, and instructions
  • Working with various government organizations to identify, review, and evaluate candidate data sources and applicable local and national data standards
  • Assisting with modeling and simulation frameworks and software integration, development, generation, demonstration, and documentation
  • Demonstrated versatility in multiple higher level programing languages such as C++ or Python
  • Developing programs inside of visual studio and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Consolidating data from different sources and generating common formats
  • Facilitating data entry and retrieval of data for analysis and reporting
