Job Duties:

• This position is in support of the NORAD Transformation Networking project that has a one (1) year period of performance
• Provide input to technical documents to include design, deployment and transition
• Provide Tier II and Tier III support for Microsoft Windows enterprise environment.
• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012 server environments.
• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot group policies, active directory, certificate services, Radius, and DNS.
• Maintain and manage VMware Products including ESXi and vCenter.
• Provide knowledge and technical insight in the areas of Windows server, VMware products, and group policies, etc
• Manage and troubleshoot a fast paced Windows 2003 / 2008 / 2012 Enterprise Server environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ year's experience, or a commensurate combination of education, training, and experience required.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding oral and written communication
• 6 years experience administering Microsoft 2008 and newer servers.
• 6 years experience working in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory (AD), DNS, and Certificate Services (CA); including creating, managing, and troubleshooting Windows group policies (GPO).
• This position requires the candidate to have an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Acceptable certifications include MCSE, MCSA, MCP, MCTS, MCITP.
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II, IAM Level II, or IASAE Level II or higher certification required includes Security+ w/ CE, GSEC, SSCP, CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP, CASP, CAP, GSLC, CISM, or CSSLP

• ITILv3 Foundations required (or must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire).

• EMC or other SAN experience, Backup Software, VMware experience, SQL experience, SCCM experience, and experience with Microsoft clustering.
• Previous experience supporting government and/or Department of Defense customers.
• Experience with NORAD-USNORTHCOM operations is highly desirable.
