Position Description:

S4 Inc. is looking for qualified individuals to serve as the local Senior System Administrator to provide IO&M, monitoring, and administrative support to the classified (Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET)) and unclassified (Non- classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET)); and up to three additional networks (e.g. CENTCOM Partner Network-X (CPN-X), Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems (BICES)) networks at USARCENT occupied facilities on Shaw Air Force Base. This effort is in support of the United States Army Central as it conducts shaping operations in the United States Central Command Area of Responsibility (AOR) to deter adversaries in order to reassure and enable regional partners while sustaining ongoing United States operations in established Combined Joint Operating Areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily maintenance and operations support of all managed systems, Regional Cyber Center - Southwest Asia (RCC-SWA) remote administrated servers, and local servers supporting USARCENT personnel
• Network operating system installation and configuration, patch management, health monitoring, backups and restoration, Antivirus updates and migrations and non-compliance reporting as required by the G6 and all DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency), Army, and higher headquarters
• Administrative documentation and logical diagramming support for the command's virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) on both SIPRNET and NIPRNET. The Contractor shall maintain configuration according to DISA STIGS (Security Technical Implementation Guide) and report non-compliance as required by USARCENT G6 and as mandated by the DOD (Department of Defense), DISA, or Army IA regulations, guides and advisories
• Perform back-ups and archiving of command servers
• Shall IO&M physical and virtual servers for emerging requirements
• Coordination with the COR to develop and implement access control lists on routers, firewalls, IDS (Intrusion Detection System), and other network devices
• Providing O&M support for the IWS (Interactive Warning System) Mass Notification System
• Create baseline images for network required workstations to include NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and up to three additional networks (e.g. CPN-X, BICES)

Required Skills:

• VMWare experience
• Information Assurance Compliance Experience
• Knowledge of military Networks, especially Army, a plus
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and scanning programs
• Experience setting up accounts for and maintaining coalition networks
• STIG Compliance skills
• Server maintenance background

Required Qualifications:

• A 4-year college degree in an IT related field. An amount of experience can be substituted for education requirements
• Three years of experience in System Administration

Desired Qualifications:

• Army IT support experience
• LAN/WAN Background
