Job Description:

• Possess extensive knowledge and expertise on Showback/Chargeback principles and the VMware VRealize Business software application.
• Perform requirements analysis, functional analysis and synthesis of USSTRATCOM's IT usage and financial costs.
• Configure and maintain VMware VRealize Business software based on information gathered from stakeholders, requirements documents, and customer interviews.
• Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communications skills necessary to brief and report status, issues, and reports relative to Showback/Chargeback principles and the VMware Business software application.
• Provide response to Government questions and concerns with regard to these systems Showback/Chargeback principles and the VMware VRealize Business software applications.
• Provide inputs on technical refresh and lifecycle planning for Showback/Chargeback principles and the VMware VRealize Business software.
• Working understanding of IT system lifecycle and costs. Experience with lifecycle processes, implementations, operations and decommissioning of IT systems. Understand all phases of IT system lifecycle with emphasis on cost allocation.
• Assist users in operating the VMware VRealize Business software application. Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation.
• Analyze, log, track, and resolve complex software/hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, physical and virtual servers, storage devices and applications to meet business needs.
• Prepare briefings and updates on project/task status and configuration management documentation. Attend meetings with the Government to assist in defining requirements, provide technical expertise, and respond to taskings

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 10 years of related experience or Master's degree with eight years of related experience
• Utilized VS .Net 2010 development environment
• 5+ years of experience with IT system lifecycle management
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to resolve technical problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience with version control software
• Experience working with distributed computer systems, software, and associated communication networks
• Experience working with networking principles and local area networks
• Experience working with hardware and software products
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification preferred
• Must have an active Top Secret+ security clearance; or- must be capable of obtaining/maintaining a TS+ security clearance. A minimum as a Secret security clearance is required to start work on this contract.
