Job Title: Systems Engineer II

Work Location: Colorado Springs  

Clearance: Active, Current Secret

Education: BS Degree

Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience with a focus on system integration and configuration control

Certification: Security+ce and OS Cert (Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft, VMware, others will be considered)

Schedule: Monday Friday day shift

Travel: Plus or minus 10%

Salary: Commensurate with experience

CLC: Systems Engineer II

Specific Duties:

• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to Enterprise system configurations, network mapping, and system processes
• Ensure compatibility, interoperability and Cyber Security for end-to-end hosted systems
• Support integration of new systems within the enterprise
• Develop life-cycle documentation for new and existing systems
• Provide support to Project Managers, Network and System Administrators and other cross-functional teams
• Develop design and functional specifications and produce deliverables related to assigned projects
• Develop as-built documentation as required
• Experience supporting multiple implementation activities concurrently

Skills:

• Excellent writing skills
• Hands on experience with MS Visio
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of SCSM
• Broad experience with network transport protocols, server systems (virtual and physical systems) and the interoperations of these systems
• Solutions driven a plus

Qualifications:

• Active, Current Secret Clearance
• BS Degree, 5 to 8 years of experience with a focus on system integration and configuration control
• Security+ce, OS Cert (Cisco, Juniper, VMWare, Microsoft etc.)
